Pinsent is a charming 6-acre wooded area with individual camping areas set in the woodland. Each area has firepits for ground fires which makes this ideal for Back-to-Basics or traditional camps
The site is situated just outside ancient city of Winchester with direct access to the Clarendon Way and close to the start of the South Downs Way
There are also a number of Instructor-Led Activities on site including Crate Stacking and Archery

Rifle Shooting (Daytime)
Our NSRA qualified instructors provide target shooting in the 'enclosed' barn at Pinsent - or at your Scout Hut if you can meet NSRA and Scout safety standards. We are keen to take Scouts to Master at Arms standard and higher.
This Activity is not suitable for Beavers
Tomahawk Throwing (Daytime)
Throwing the hawk is a unique sport that requires discipline, control, and accuracy and can be one of the most memorable activities for leaders and Scouts.
Today we offer this skill to Scouts, Explorers and adults using mini-hawks and tomahawks.
