The Oaks Scout Campsite is in a beautiful part of Leicestershire, in an area called Charnwood Forest, which now falls within the National Forest. The site consists of 10 acres of Ancient Oak Woodland and 10 acres of grassland and holds two buildings (1 offering indoor accommodation) and offers a range of activities.

Alpine Hut (Building Only)

The smaller of our 2 bookable buildings, the Alpine hut is used as a shelter with a kitchen and dining area. As this is unsuitable to sleep in, site 2 is booked alongside this building.
This adds the building fee only, the camper night fees will be added onto the booking later.

The field on site is separated into 11 sites to be able to pitch tents. Please book this if you are camping without the use of a builing.

Clarke Hut (Building Only)

The Oaks largest building, sleeps up to 30 people. 2 bunk rooms with 8 and 6 beds inside. The building also comes with a kitchen, toilets, tables & chairs and a projector. Site 7 is automatically booked with the Clarke hut.
This adds the building fee only, the camper night fees will be added onto the booking later.

Leave the usual meeting at the Scout hut for the night and bring your group up in an evening for your regular group session.
