Bouldering is a form of rock climbing on a low wall close to the ground without the use of ropes and harnesses.
Young people should try to traverse along the length of the bouldering wall rather than climbing up.
The campfire circle can be used for a traditional camp fire singalong or as a general space to gather everyone together.
It has a brick base in the centre of the circle for the campfire.
With it's altar it can also be used for a Scouts' Own Service or other commemoration.
There is nothing like spending a night in a tent - whether you are a Squirrel, Beaver, Cub, Scout, Explorer or adult.
There is lots of space for sleeping tents, mess tents and kitchen tents.
The Climbing Wall at Sudbrooke consists of 5 walls; four climbs of 7 metres, 2 climbs of 11 metres and a couple of overhang climbs.
On booking you will be asked to confirm whether you have an authorised leader or whether you would like the Lincoln District Scouts Mountain Activity Team to provide one if available.
Crate stacking is an activity where young people build a tower of plastic milk crates whilst standing at the top. This is a team building activity with others passing the crates up.
Harnesses, helmets and belays are available.
The large open spaces can be used for wide games, fire lighting, survival training, backwoods cooking, or any of the other on-site activities.
Sudbrooke indoor cave is a modular system made with sections of fibreglass bolted together. In total it is 60 metres long with 1 large cavern and various entrances and climbs.
A set of 20 Lasers for 2 hours
They would need to be charged after the 2 hour period before being used again.
NOTE: Under POR 3.11.3.1 Parental permission is required for under 18's.

"Camping" in the main building can be allowed for up to 30 young people. There is a separate 4 space bunk room off the main hall for adults if necessary.
In addition to booking this item you will also need to book the building and pay the fee for the building.
Mini Pioneering;
150 poles between 3' and 8' in length,
Approx 120 lashings of various sizes + other bits and pieces.
15 different projects to build, details on laminated A4 sheets and kept with the gear in a red file.
Projects include lots of camp gadgets and camp gateways etc.
£10 per day. £5 per extra days.

Sudbrooke Holme is a brick building. The main hall is heated by an air space heater.
There is a catering kitchen and a bunk room for up to 6 adults.
The shower and toilet block (accessible by other campsite users) is attached to the main hall. Young people (max 30!!) may "camp/sleep" in the main hall.
The new tables and chairs should only be used in the main building. However there are older tables and benches which can be used outside. Currently stored in a cupboard but easily accessible.
