Description

Beavers will dig up potatoes from a designated area in a fun and active way.

Resources

- Trowels or small spades
- A bucket or container for collected potatoes
- Water (for washing later)

Instructions

1. Prepare a small plot of ground where potatoes are planted or use a container filled with soil and potatoes.
2. Hand each Beaver a small trowel or spade.
3. Show Beavers how to dig gently to uncover potatoes without damaging them.
4. Set a time limit of 15 minutes for Beavers to dig as many potatoes as they can.
5. Once the time is up, gather the Beavers and count how many potatoes they found.
