Description

As part of Squirrel Appreciation Day, make a squirrel from recycled materials.
They could be turned into percussion instruments by adding some dry rice/lentils/pasta and sealing the ends

Resources

Body: Toilet roll tube / paper cup (ideally plain)
Tail: Thick paper but can also decorate with feathers or leaves.
Eyes: Medium googly eyes (sticky ones if possible)
Nose: pom pom or button

Acrylic paint or felt pens (depends how brave you feel about 4/5 year olds with paint!)
Glue or low temp glue gun
Double-sided tape (optional instead of glue)
Sharpie
