cooked in an oven - per 2 pizzas
preheat oven to 180oC

If using open fires - place puree , cheese and toppings inside the pocket, wrap in tin foil and place on embers of fire


Resources

2 pitta breads
1 Tbsp tomato puree
handful grated mozzarella cheese
extra pizza toppings of your choice optional - pepperoni, ham

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F/Gas Mark 4).
Prepare any toppings you want to add to your pizza.
Place the pitta breads on an oven tray, then spread a thin layer of tomato puree over the top of each pitta bread, going right to the edges.
Sprinkle over the grated cheese, again, going right to the edges.
Add your pizza toppings. You can arrange them in fun shapes (faces are always fun!) or sprinkle them evenly - it's entirely up to you!
Bake in the oven for 8-10 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbling.
Leave to cool for a few minutes before serving, then serve whole or cut into slices.
