Description
Each six is given a selection of Lego bricks. A simple model is out of sight of the teams, for example a stack of bricks in colour order red, green, blue, white, one member of the six may look at the model for a maximum of 30 seconds, they must go back and describe the model to the rest of the six. They are not allowed to touch any bricks. Once completed it is checked by a leader and if correct the next member looks at the next model. The winners are the first team to complete 6 models accurately.
Resources
Set of Lego brick for each 6 and another set for constructing the models. Ideally enough that all models can be built from a single set so the six has a full set of constructions by the end of the challenge.
Answer sheets with pictures of the models for leaders to check the constructions with.
Instructions
Make six simple models and put them in another room.
Give each six a set of Lego that can be used to build the six models.
On starting the challenge the first team member views the first model for a maximum of 30 seconds.
They can then describe the model to their team but can't touch the bricks. They can return to view the model again in chunks of up to 30 seconds.
Once they think it is complete it can be checked by a leader, if successful they can move on to the next model, a different team member should visit the model room.
