Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Traditional drinking game that can be used as a fun activity for Scouts of all ages (without the drinking).

Needs good eye hand coordination to keep to the rhythm and not lose to the other player

Minimal eqpt needed

Resources

Two players
An puck sized object that can be easily held in one hand and is stable on a table/floor.
A small towel (optional)

Instructions

Two people sit at a table facing each other.

A small towel is placed on the table, and an object is placed on top of that.

If the object is resting on the table during play, then
Each player must tap it with an flat palm (open hand) in rhythm to a beat.

If the other player snatches the object (upto a max 3 times in a row), the other player must then tap the towel with a fist (closed hand) instead.

The game picks up speed as it goes along, so it becomes more difficult to react with the appropriate hand response (open or closed) in time.

Whoever messes up, loses.
