Description

Activity will need to be spread over two sessions if you are painting them as they need to dry and be sealed for outdoor usage.

Resources

clean tin can with labels removed- preferably a ring pull can as they don't have sharp edges
leaves, twigs, moss whatever you can find just make sure thy are dry
string
paint- we used acrylic paint as its water based, then sealed it with a waterproof acrylic spray (from amazon)
paint brushes

Instructions

Cover tables with paper
Paint the cans - maybe yellow and black like a bee or Red & Black like a ladybird
Let them dry- this will take at least an hour, then spray them with the waterproof spray- do this outside as its solvent based
Following week you can fill them
