Instructions
Setup: put the four tables in different corners of the hall with space for a leader/volunteer behind each. Each table will have will have two stamps and two plates of food covered in foil. The food should be cut into small portions, enough for each Beaver to have some.
Introduce the activity: The challenge badge can be awarded when you complete two challenges, one which you select and one selected by a leader. Today I am setting you all a challenge: to try some new and unusual foods. I know for some of you trying new food is a difficult thing but you may discover that you really likes some of these things and then you can tell your parents or carers about it when you get home.
Pass out the worksheets and pencils and ask them to all write their names on them. Tell them that each food they try will earn them a stamp next to that food. They should queue at each table, try the food and get a stamp on their paper. If they get at least 6 stamps then they will have completed the leader challenge badge requirement. Check for any questions and then let them go to the tables and take the foil off.
