YP work together to discuss what they would do in various emergency scenarios that may occur on a day hike.

Instructions

1. Give each group one of the scenario cards.

2. Ask them to write down all the things they would do if this happened on their hike and also note down things they definitely shou,d not do.

3. Alternatively and if you have time; you could get the groups to act out the scenario and their reactions.

4. Go through each scenario - leaders can add in anything else they think the Scouts should do.
