Beavers Hike through the woods (Although this can be done any where really) collecting different items to add to their "Story Stick"

Resources

Wellies or Hiking Boots, Coats if applicable, thick sticks approx 15cm in length, with 3 elastic bands attached (one for each Beaver)

Instructions

Beavers Hike through the woods (Although this can be done any where really). Beavers are asked what they expect to find in the woods before they leave and what the appropriate dress code would be. Beavers are provided with a thick stick with 3 elastic bands on. As you travel along your hike, Beavers collect different items like leaves, flowers, bark etc so at the end of the hike, that they are able to tell their grown up about what they did and what they saw using the "Story Stick"
