Each Guide will need to bring:
A pair of balled up socks

Leader needs:
List of missions
Turn order

Instructions

Each Guide plays Keepy-Uppy with their balled up socks while taking it in turns to complete or continue "missions".

Place a turn order in the chat or in place of a Leader's camera view. Or a Leader can call out who is next.

All Guides can play Keepy-Uppy throughout or only when it's their turn.

While keeping your asteroid in the air complete or continue a "Mission".

Suggested Missions:

Sing a song (1 verse) in a funny voice. The next player continues the song or starts a new one if they don't know it. Nursery rhymes, kids songs ("the wheels on the bus", "if you're happy and you know it" etc.), or songs from Guides/Brownies work well.

Find something in your room for each colour of the rainbow. 1 colour each in order.

Moon walk or pretend to.

Recite the alphabet backwards. Either one letter each or as far as each person can go.
Be aware of learning difficulties or the ages of Guides in your Unit if choosing this Mission.

Asteroid antics

You’ll each need a balloon for this game. If you don’t have a balloon you could use a ball instead. Your leader will need a music player and some music too.

Oh no - asteroids incoming! It’s time to band together to save planet Earth. Everyone grab your balloon or ball. When the music starts playing, try to keep it in the air but you can’t keep hold of it (so either use your hands to push the balloon up, or keep throwing and catching your ball).

When the music stops, listen to your leader as they tell you your missions. Keep playing until you’ve completed all the missions.

Missions:

Take turns to sing a part of your favourite song in a funny voice.
Quickly find something in your room for each colour of the Rainbow.
Do something silly to make everyone laugh.
Do a moon walk across your room.
Say the alphabet backwards without making a mistake (every time you do, go back to the beginning – or end - of the alphabet).
