Irish barmbrack, Eccles cake, Welsh currant bread (bara brith).

Instructions

Beavers try a small sample of each food - need to consider allergies and buy something else for dairy/egg allergies and look at ingredients for nut allergies.
Barmbrack and Eccles cakes are available in supermarkets. If you're not in Wales you can make bara brith or substitute fruit cake.
We make Scottish shortbread the following week but you could also try shop bought shortbread as part of this activity.
