Description

Short, off-road bike ride with a stop to cover Cyclist Activity Badge requirements. Parents invited, especially keen cyclists to support showing the Beavers how to look after their bikes

Instructions

Test your route in advance. For Beavers find an off-road route. Ask parents to check bikes and helmets are in good order and tyres inflated correctly before coming then check again before departure. Plan route so you can stop for approx 10 mins to cover the requirements of the Beaver Cyclist Activity Badge. Invite parents and brief some parents to help with the badge requirements in small groups with leaders and Beavers.
