Description

Make your own hockey sticks and play a match using them, perhaps using tables as a half way line. Depending on the group of kids it can either be really good fun or a bit rough.

Resources

Broadsheet newspapers, masking tape, very lightweight ball (small plastic ones with holes cut throughout).

Instructions

Roll up newspaper into a stick shape and secure using masking tape. Secure tightly or inside flies out!! Repairs to hockey sticks may be required.
Teams on either side of tables which are dividing the room (tables to be standing up).
